Soaring - Gliders, Paragliding and Hang Gliders
King Mountain Launch Site, located just east of Moore, Idaho, is one of the nation’s premier destinations for soaring enthusiasts. The site offers three launch sites for Hang Gliding and Paragliding. King Mountain hosts Hang Gliding and Paragliding championships in June each year. The Mackay Airport offers an excellent location for glider aircraft.
